Were you Lost Once Upon a Time?
ABC's latest great hope, Once Upon a Time looks to be following in the footsteps of FlashForward and The Event and trying to be the new Lost. ABC has seemingly been trying to re-create the magic, and as mentioned before, this latest attempt may well manage it, or at least do better than the others mentioned above.
We now have some more information about the creation and gestation of the show, and it would appear Damon Lindelof, co-creator of one of the best sci-fi shows around has been a guiding light, or father figure to the show's frontrunners:
“Damon [Lindelof] has been a godfather for us,” said executive producer and creator Edward Kitsis, a former co-executive producer on Lost. “He’s one of our closest friends. And when we first sold the show to ABC, were like, ‘What do we do?’ So we went to his couch…” “…and we started crying,”
It also seems the focus on characters that Lost was famous for will be a key facet of Once's run, too:
“We were much more interested in why Geppetto wants a boy so bad he’d build one out of wood,” Kitsis said.
