Two new teasers for the Twin Peaks revival confirm it's happening again...

Warning, these teasers will spoil a major twist for those catching Twin Peaks for the first time ahead of the revival...

Showtime is keeping things close to its chest as anticipation for the Twin Peaks revival builds ahead of its 21st May debut. There's still no footage of the new season, but two new teasers have been released to put fans in the mood.

The 'Body tease' centres around the tragic discovery of Laura Palmer wrapped in plastic...

The second 'mirror tease' picks up from the shocking final moments of the finale before giving us our first look at Dale Cooper now...

Season three, whose impressive cast features many familiar faces amongst the new will air on Sky Atlantic here in the UK. The show will be simulcast with the US before airing at 9pm on the 22nd May.

Returning actors include three now tragically deceased Catherine E. Coulson (The Log Lady), Miguel Ferrer (FBI Special Agent Albert Rosenfield) and, we've learned today, Warren Frost (Doc Haywood), who all filmed scenes for the revival before their deaths.

We're looking back at the entire series here at The Digital Fix in the build up to season three, as Baz Greenland revisits two episodes each week. You can catch his latest review here.
