The CW renews all 13 of its current shows, including The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Riverdale and Dynasty
It's that time of year again, when all the big US networks announce which shows are coming back and which will get the axe. As usual, The CW is one of the first and as usual - it's bringing all of its shows back for another run.
While Arrow is ending this season, all the other Arrowverse shows will be back. The Flash gets a seventh season, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow a sixth and new show Batwoman, which is yet to get a UK broadcaster, will be back for a second. All the other shows air on Sky One and will return soon with their respective episodes from the big crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths.
Also returnining is Black Lightning for a third season and Dynasty for a fourth. Both have previously aired on Netflix weekly in the UK, but due to streaming rights have yet to show up over here. Both are expected to release full season box sets later this year on the streaming site.
Riverdale, which does still stream weekly on Netflix in the UK, will return for a fifth season, while spin-off series Nancy Drew (UK broadcaster yet to be confirmed) will be back for a second. The remake of Charmed (which previously aired on E4) gets a third season and Roswell: New Mexico a second. Rounding up the renewals are new seasons for All American, Legacies and In The Dark.
