Source Code: The TV series.

Source Code, the movie about Colter Stevens going back seven minutes in someone else’s life in order to find a bomber, was a hit back in April this year. So much of a hit, apparently, that they’re going to turn it into a TV series with a pilot being created.

However, the director of the Source Code movie had absolutely no idea that the TV series was happening. He said on Twitter “For those asking, I know not a sausage about the Source Code TV Show. First time I heard about it was about 20 minutes ago... on Twitter!"

The Source Code TV series will in fact be produced by Mark Gordon (Grey’s Anatomy) and written by Steve Maeda (Lost).

It all sounds a bit Quantum Leap to us, and whilst that’s certainly no bad thing we’re not entirely sure if Source Code could ever live up to Quantum Leap’s brilliance...
