Scream meets Dawson's Creek

Kevin Williamson, the man who wrote Scream for the big screen in 1996 and first moved to television with Dawson's Creek in 1998, will be writing a new pilot for FOX TV.

The pitch went well as multiple networks were after the show about a serial killer who leverages technology to create a whole cult of serial killers, presumably to follow him around excitedly in a wholesomely creepy manner. There's an FBI agent, of course, who inexplicably finds themselves caught up in the middle of everything.

Williamson will write the show and be credited as an Executive Producer. More current roles to add to his plate in addition to his front-runner responsibilities on The Vampire Diaries and support on The Secret Circle.
