Ross Kemp's Extreme World to return this autumn

Coming to Sky 1 in July, it's the second series of Ross Kemp's Extreme World, in which the former EastEnders staring cockney takes on a new range of extreme environments and reports back.

This year, Kemp travels to such danger zones as Venezuela, Tanzania, Pakistan, and closer-to-home extreme locations like Glasgow, exploring the effects of the recession on normal people, and then venturing across the pond to post-Katrina New Orleans.

Ross Kemp himself says of the new series: "I was surprised and delighted by the positive response to the first series of Extreme World. I honestly believe that this forthcoming Extreme World is equal to, if not better, than the first series. I hope SKY 1 audiences will find this new series as enthralling to watch as my team and I did making it."

So, yes, Ross Kemp's Extreme World coming to Sky 1 (and Sky 1 HD) in the autumn. It looks like the Kemp brand of manly documentaries isn't going anywhere.
