Prison Break Is Returning For Ten-Episode Fifth Season
A revival of Prison Break by Fox has long been rumoured and now Fox co-chairman Gary Newman has confirmed that the show will be back for a limited run, with Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller both signed up for new episodes.
Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring is already working on the story.
On the revival, Fox confirmed "it picks up with the characters several years after we left them in the show. The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back. I don't think Paul knows exactly where it's going over the ten-episode arc, but it will address some of the questions from the original show but also appeal to new audiences."
Fox of course have also recently revived The X Files for six episodes in 2016 and are now looking at a continuation of the 24 franchise, even without Kiefer Sutherland at the lead.
