New commissions for BBC Three

Good news for fans of BBC Three and its various shows — a lot of them are being re-commissioned.

Television @ The Digital Fix favourite Him & Her has been re-commissioned for a third series (you can find out why we're happy about that here) as has a second series of new show Pramface, which we should be able to see this winter.

For comedy fans, alternative news show Russell Howard's Good News looks like it's going to be sticking around for a lot longer as a multi-series deal has been made.

There will also be three brand-new comedy series coming to the channel: Bad Education (which is being written by and will star Jack Whitehall — a new Fresh Meat, d'ya think?), Some Girls and The Revolution Will Be Televised.

Zai Bennett, BBC Three Controller, said "BBC Three is the channel that breaks new comedy in the UK. We are delighted that Bad Education, Some Girls and The Revolution Will Be Televised are joining our already exciting stable of comedy"

We need your help

Running a website like The Digital Fix - especially one with over 20 years of content and an active community - costs lots of money and we need your help. As advertising income for independent sites continues to contract we are looking at other ways of supporting the site hosting and paying for content.

You can help us by using the links on The Digital Fix to buy your films, games and music and we ask that you try to avoid blocking our ads if you can. You can also help directly for just a few pennies per day via our Patreon - and you can even pay to have ads removed from the site entirely.
