Netflix officially confirms Mindhunter's renewal for a second season

New Netflix show Mindhunter, produced and directed by David Fincher, will be back for a second season. While talk of another year has been around since before the show aired in October, it is great to see that the streaming giant have officially picked the show up for another run.

This show is one of the best things to come out of Netflix, tackling the early days of criminal profiling through the eyes of Jonathan Groff's FBI agent Holden Ford and Holt McCallan's FBI Agent Bill Tench. Together with Anna Torv's Professor Wendy Carr, the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit investigate the very worst in criminal society to better understand what drives them to kill.

Mindhunter is written by Joe Penhall and Scott Buck and based on the 1996 book “Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit,” by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker.
