Michael Waldron hired as showrunner for new Loki TV series, new details revealed

Expect to see more of the God of Mischief as he influences Earth’s history…

New details have emerged about Disney+‘s new streaming series Loki, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter. Michael Waldron, who is currently writing and producing the latest season of animated series Rick and Morty, will write the pilot, act as show creator and executive produce the series.

While not confirmed, Tom Hiddleston is expected to reprise his iconic role, though there are rumours that it will also feature Kid Loki, allowing for different versions of the character over the course of the series.

The Hollywood Reporter has also reported that Loki will follow the titular trickster and shape-shifter as he pops up throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events (though these details have yet to be confirmed by Disney).
