Vision, Scarlet Witch, Loki, Falcon and Winter Soldier are all set to feature in future stories on Disney+
Production is gearing up for a whole host of new TV shows when Disney’s streaming service Disney+ launches later this year. Along with a Loki TV series and live action Star Wars spin-off The Madalorian, is Vision and Scarlet Witch, with Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen expected to reprise their roles.
Now The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Jac Schaeffer, one of the writers on the upcoming Captain Marvel movie has been tapped to write the series and act as showrunner. This comes after Malcolm Spellman was recently hired to write a Falcon and Winter Soldier TV series, starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan.
Schaeffer has also written a potential Black Widow movie, which is due to see Scarlett Johansson take centre stage in her own movie. The Hollywood Reporter claims that this is due to shoot later in 2019.
But right now, it certainly looks as if subscribing to Disney+ might be well worth the cost.
