Interview suggests surprise appearance in Doctor Who: Day of the Doctor

This is your LAST SPOILER WARNING! Scroll on to read...

According to an interview with The Huffington Post, it's being claimed that Tom Baker will be making an appearance in the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, Day of the Doctor. The rumour is being widely reported, but could just be Mr Baker teasing us fans - we're sure his face will appear a few times over the next few days, but has he actually filmed new material?

Baker said, "I am in the special. I’m not supposed to tell you that, but I tell you that very willingly and specifically; the BBC told me not to tell anybody but I’m telling you straightaway. It worked out very well, I think, judging by the reactions of the technicians."

The BBC have reportedly commented, "As with William Hartnell’s recent appearance in the last season finale, anything is possible in Doctor Who. But nothing is certain."
