House Of Lies heading to Sky Atlantic

Today brings us the news that House of Lies, broadcast on Showtime in the US, is now headed for Sky Atlantic in July to make its UK debut.

The series stares Don Cheadle, copying many other movie stars in moving back to TV for a regular gig, along with Kirsten Bell of Veronica Mars, playing cutthroat management consultants trying to close their deals using any means necessary. It's based on a book called House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time, so one suspects it won't be a positive portrayal.

This news only serves to cement Sky Atlantic's role as the home of American cable drama in the UK, having already bought the rights to seemingly all of HBO's output, as well as the smash hit Mad Men from AMC. Now if they'd only buy Breaking Bad as well, Sky would truly have everything.

So, House of Lies to debut some time in July on Sky Atlantic, and has already been recommissioned for a second season, so at least you know it won't disappear on you.
