Happy Halloween! Lucifer gets a full season two pick up of 22 episodes

Some rather appropriate news for Halloween...we'll be seeing a lot more from the king of Hell as Lucifer's second season has been extended for 22 episodes. The first season, starring Tom Ellis as Lucifer, who takes a break from Hell to help the LAPD solve crime, ran for just thirteen episodes in its first season.

Fox entertainment president David Madden made the following statement...

"‘Lucifer’ continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humor and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to ‘Gotham,’ and we couldn’t be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes." - Fox

The debut season and the first five episodes of season two are now available on Amazon here in the UK, with new episodes available to stream each Tuesday. You can check out the latest season two episode review from Jessica Thomas here
