Doctor Who series 12 confirmed to start on New Year's Day. Episode one title confirmed

Doctor Who won't be giving us a Christmas special again this year, but we will be getting another episode on New Year's Day. This time however, it will be the start of series 12, with subsequent episodes airing on Sundays from the 5th January. The BBC has yet to confirm air times.

Episode one, featuring Stephen Fry and Lenny Henry, will be written by showrunner Chris Chibnall and goes by the rather fun title of Spyfall. Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor will be back in the TARDIS again, along with companions Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh).
