CBS cancels Limitless

Limitless is one the best new shows on TV this season. A witty, hilarious and very fun spin-off of the 2011 film starring Bradley Cooper (who also briefly stars and executive produces the series) its reviews have been largely positive. But apparently the ratings have not been strong enough to warrant a second season and despite CBS shopping the show around to other networks, there hasn't been enough interest and the network has cancelled the show after a single season.

The show's creator Craig Sweeney broke the news on Twitter...

"I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched." - CBS

The show ended in the US recently but the final run of episodes are still broadcasting here in the UK each Wednesday at 9pm on Sky 1.
