CBS announces its latest renewals and cancellations - but Limitless is still in limbo

After last week's bloodbath on ABC, which saw Castle and Agent Carter cancelled, this time it's CBS's turn to announce the fate of all the shows that debuted this season.

High octane hospital drama Code Black, Criminal Minds spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Matthew Perry's new comedy The Odd Couple were all renewed for second seasons. Rush Hour, the terrible-looking TV adaptation of the franchise failed to make the cut and was cancelled.

There was a lot of rumour and intrigue over CBS's Supergirl before it was also announced last week that it was moving over to The CW with the rest of its DC superhero chums. This just leaves the brilliant Limitless left in limbo. Deadline confirmed that CBS had likely cancelled the show but it was being shopped around to other networks. So there is hope yet. In the meantime, the show airs on Wednesdays on Sky 1 and is well worth a look.
