Carrie-Anne Moss Joins The TV Marvel Universe!
With Marvel’s reboot of Daredevil about to hit Netflix on the 10th April 2015, there has been a lot of attention of late on the next Netflix Marvel show AKA Jessica Jones. Former Doctor David Tennant was recently confirmed as the big bad ’Kilgrave / The Purple Man’, as was Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker alongside Krysten Ritter as series lead Jessica Jones.
But now - like Tennant - there has been another piece of geek casting to set the internet abuzz; The Matrix’s Trinity, Carrie-Anne Moss, has joined the show in a substantial role. There is no name yet, though her character is described as a ‘no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica. That’s if Jessica doesn't completely alienate her first.’
Carrie-Anne Moss joined Chuck, a show for geeks everywhere during its final season. But this might be her most high profile role since the Matrix trilogy ended, leaving everyone with a bad taste in their mouths. Will she be a classic character from the comics or someone new entirely? We‘ll find out when AKA Jessica Jones airs on Netlfix - hopefully later this year!
