There’s at least two seasons to come for the resurrected comedy series.
Brooklyn Nine Nine‘s cancellation by Fox and subsequent resurrection by NBC last year, was a mix of joy and celebration. Fortunately this isn’t a one-off save either; the new US network has already extended its 13-episode order for season six to 18 and not it has renewed the comedy series for a seventh too.
Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, Co-Presidents of Scripted Programming, NBC Entertainment, made the following statement:
“It’s been one of our great joys as a network to give Brooklyn Nine-Nine a second life. Cheers to Dan Goor, Mike Schur, Luke Del Tredici and David Miner, and our amazing cast and crew who each week turn New York’s finest into New York’s funniest.”
Brooklyn Nine Nine, which has yet to air its sixth season in the UK, is one of the funniest comedy shows on television. The first five seasons, which have previously aired on E4, are available to watch on Netflix UK now.
