BBC commissions Tom Rob Smith's London Spy

After lining up dramas based on works by the literary likes of Hilary Mantel and David Hare, the Beeb has commissioned another new show based on a renowned writer. London Spy will be a series of five hour long shows shooting soon and is created by author Tom Rob Smith (Child 44) and produced by Working Title. The show will be set in London and feature, guess, go on guess, espionage!

London Spy joins Hugo(Shadow Line) Blick's The Honourable Woman, the adaptations of Mantel's Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies, Andrew Davies's A Poet in New York and Hare's Turks & Caicos and Salting The Battlefield.
