Alan Tudyk confirmed to be joining the Cassian Andor Star Wars TV series

One of the little nuggets of new information that came during the Disney+ reveal yesterday was the news that Alan Tudyk is to reprise his role as K-2SO in the Cassian Andor TV series being developed by the streaming network.

Kathleen Kennedy also confirmed the previous rumours that Stephen Schiff (The Americans) is set to act as showrunner on the new series.

The series, set to go into production this year and premiere in 2021, follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor.

The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.
