What To Watch: 28/12/2011

Christmas is good for lots of things, but mainly for absolutely cracking TV. From the 19th December to the 1st January, we'll be giving you a daily report on what you should be watching.

Frozen Planet: the Epic Journey
7:00pm on BBC1
If you missed this excellent series, this will be the perfect catch up. Polar bear cubs being born (you mention the controversy and I swear, I will end you), wolves attacking bison, penguins huddling together for warmth, it's all here and it's fantastic.

Top Gear
8:00pm on BBC2
We all know how this works. Three grown men, being silly, with Christmas shoehorned in some way. There's nothing wrong with that, of course. This year they're going across India to improve our trade balance. Hmmm. That's going to go well...

Dara O Briain This Is The Show
10:30pm on BBC2
The Irish comic and Mock The Week host performs the final night of his tour at Hammersmith Apollo.

Felix and Murdo
10:35pm on C4
Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller are back in this pilot about two young men from the 1900s. Rude, silly and slightly bizarre, it's most amusing.
