Michelle Gomez to play another villian as she heads to Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot

Michelle Gomez has already played a fantastic baddie as Missy, the first female incantation of the Master in Doctor Who. Now she will be back on TV to play another villain in the upcoming Sabrina The Teenage Witch reboot for Netflix.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Gomez will join Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to play 'Mary Wardell, Sabrina's favorite teacher and mentor at Baxter High. When she is possessed by the Devil's handmaiden, Madam Satan, Ms. Wardell turns into a sultry, cunning manipulator who is always trying to lure Sabrina down the Path of Night'.

The site also reports that Ambrose Spellman, will also be joining the show as 'Sabrina's warlock cousin from England. Placed under house arrest by the Witches Council, Ambrose is forbidden from leaving the funeral home where he lives with the Spellman women. Witty, puckish and pan-sexual, he is one of Sabrina’s partners in crime, always up for mischief.'

Kiernan Shipka will play the titular role of Sabrina Spellman in a series that has been described as a much darker take on the source material than the 90s series, 'in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist'

The series was given a two-season order by Netflix and is expected to air later this year.
