The X Files season 11 to start in the UK on February 5th

Over in the US, The X Files is about to air the fourth of its ten-episode eleventh season, but UK fans have been waiting impatiently for word of a UK airdate over at Channel 5. Now a UK air date has been confirmed; the first episode, My Struggle III will air at 9pm on February 5th, with every presumably airing each Monday thereafter.

As previously announced, season 11 is likely to be the last for the long-running franchise, with Gillian Anderson confirming that these ten episodes are definitely her last playing Dana Scully.

Chris Carter's The X Files was the cultural zeitgeist of the 1990s, turning Mulder and Scully into television heroes.
