Jessica Jones season two confirmed for March 8th 2018. New details released

It's been two years since Jessica Jones made its debut on Netflix and became of the best reviewed shows on the streaming site's Marvel slate. And now, finally, we have a date for its second season return; March 8th 2018.

In addition, EW.com has released the first logline for Jessica Jones season two...

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

Krysten Ritter's Jones was one of the highlights of this year's The Defenders. She will return along with Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, and - surprisingly - David Tennant for at least one episode as the presumably dead Kilgrave. J.R. Ramirez and Janet McTeer have also joined the cast for season two.

Entertainment Weekly has also released the first look image of season two, which shows Kilgrave still tormenting Jones.

In the meantime, you can catch up on our review of the latest NetflixMarvel show The Punisher here.
