Daredevil season three gets a new showrunner and returning villain confirmed
With Jessica Jones and Luke Cage wrapping up production for 2018 returns, attention is turning to the third season of Daredevil. And once again, the show will be getting a new showrunner. After Steven S. DeKnight in season one and Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez for season two, Erik Oleson will be taking over for season three.
Meanwhile, Vincent D’Onofrio, AKA Kingpin, will also be back in a major way after some brief but thrilling prison-based scenes in season two. Here's what executive producer Jeph Loeb had to say.
"Vincent is an exceptional actor who returns with the incredible gravitas he brings to Fisk.
"We're very excited how Marvel's Daredevil develops through the creative lens and guidance of our new showrunner, Erik Oleson."
The third season will apparently tackle the 'Born Again' storyline from the comics, after the dramatic climax to Matt Murdock's storyline in The Defenders.
Daredevil season three will return on Netflix late 2018...
