Coen Brothers developing their first TV series with Netflix

Legendary movie directors Joel and Ethan Coen are moving to the small screen and are developing their first TV series with Netflix, Variety has confirmed.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will be a western anthology series, each of the six episodes featuring a different story amount the American Wild West and star Tim Blake Nelson as Buster.

On the announcement, Cindy Holland, vice president of original content for Netflix made the following statement:

“The Coens are visionary directors, masterful storytellers, and colorful linguists. We are thrilled for Netflix to become home to the full range of their talents.”

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is expected to debut in 2018...
