SDCC debuts new trailers for Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow
More trailers this time from San Diego Comic Con, as The CW network revealed the first look trailers for all four of its main DC superhero shows.
First up, Supergirl season three, which looks to be going surprisingly dark following the events of the season two finale (check out our review here) that saw Kara loose Mon El. It seems she's going to be focusing on her superhero side this time, to the detriment of her human life as Kara Danvers.
Next up is The Flash, which ended last season with Barry Allen trapped in the speedforce (check out our review here). The new trailer focuses on the aftermath of losing the Flash, Iris's struggles and how the rest of the heroes are protecting Central City at the start of season four.
Given how Arrow season five ended (check out our review here) the trailer for the next season offers far less than others, with most of it recapping the events that led up to the season cliffhanger. While the trailer reveals a couple of returning faces, it still leaves the fate of many characters up in the air...
Finally, the trailer for season three of Legends of Tomorrow looks as bonkers as ever as the team struggle to fix time after 'breaking it in the season two finale (check out our review here). With clowns, dinosaurs and plenty of time travel, this shows looks to be just as much fun as season two...
Finally, The CW has also released a wonderful trailer entitled 'Where Heroes are Born' which looks at how all four of the superhero shows have been translated from comic to screen, while teasing new DC superhero show Black Lightning.
While Black Lightning's air date has yet to be confirmed, Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends Of Tomorrow will all return in October, with Sky 1 airing new episodes within a few weeks of the US broadcast.
