Star Trek Discovery coming to Netflix in September

Netflix have confirmed the launch date for Star Trek Discovery - 25th September 2017. The new series launches worldwide one day after it's premiere in the US and Canada on CBS All Access.

The fifteen episode first season will be split into two parts, the first running from September to December and the second launching in January 2018.

The latest entry in the Star Trek franchise is set 10 years before Captain Kirk's five year mission and follows the adventures of the crew of the Starship Discovery.  The series stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones and Shazad Latif and was created by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzmann. Fuller subsequently left the project handing over showrunner duties to Gretchen Berg & Aaron Harberts.
