Claire Skinner to appear in Christmas Special of Doctor Who

More on Doctor Who

Ah, I love it when our favourite shows mix up...

Here at Television @ The Digital Fix, we like Outnumbered. And we really like Doctor Who. So when we heard that Claire Skinner, who plays Sue (aka Mum) in Outnumbered was appearing in the Christmas special of Doctor Who, we were more than a bit pleased.

We know almost nothing about the Christmas special of Doctor Who right now. We know that it’s been written by Steven Moffat and we know that it’s probably going to feature Matt Smith, but that it. We don’t know the title and it’s not even confirmed if the Christmas special will be broadcast on Christmas Day, although it’s a pretty good guess that it will be.

Until we find out more, feast your eyes on these photos of filming, which is happening right now in Wales. Claire Skinner (underneath the dressing gown) is dressed in quite 40’s style clothing — maybe it’ll be set in late/post wartime?
