On the back of the announcement that Twin Peaks will return in the US on May 21st with FOUR episodes (two on Showtime with episodes three and four on their streaming service) the UK air date has finally been announced. Season three will air on Sky Atlantic simultaneously with the US. This means the first episode will air at 2am, followed by a 9pm repeat on the 22nd May.

What's more, there will be 18 one-hour episodes, all directed by David Lynch.

Showtime president David Nevins recently teased details about the new revival...

"We've seen the whole thing… and the version of Twin Peaks you're going to see is the pure-heroin version of David Lynch. I'm very excited to put that out.

"There are certain basic questions that I had at the end of the original [show] - given where Agent Cooper is - and I think get answered."

In the lead up to the revival, we'll be revisiting every episode of the original 90's TV series, including the controversial TV movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, starting later this month...
