Breaking Bad - Broken?

So, the multiple Emmy award winning Breaking Bad returned to US screens last Sunday for it's fourth year. Although the show's creator Vince Gilligan has said a few things in the past about it's lifespan, it now seems this is the penultimate series and come the end of the fifth, Breaking Bad will be no more.

Never intended as a show that would go on and on, driven by the premise of a terminally ill chemistry teacher with two years to live, we're headed towards the end. The time is one year post-diagnosis in the Breaking Bad world and Walter White is moving ever closer to the edge of this mortal coil. It seems Mr Gilligan has learnt the hard way and is determined to close this show out properly. He spent 7 years writing on the X-Files and witnessed it's peak and the following downward spiral.

The worst thing you can do in business is to NOT learn from past experiences. It seems like Breaking Bad will see a positive spin on this over the next two years.
