Emmy Nominations 2011

The Emmy's are TV's Oscar equivalent, as big as the Grammys. The nominations have been released this week to indicate which shows, stars, writers and so on are most deserving of recognition for the past season's output. The ceremony itself will take place September 18th. The two key categories' noms are detailed below and are unlikely to result in many "Wtf?" outbursts. This writer's particular choices would be The Big Bang Theory & Game of Thrones (narrowly beating Dexter to the silver medal). Please click here for the full list.
