Agents Of SHIELD and Once Upon A Time to return in first slate of ABC renewals
Agents Of SHIELD has arguably improved each season with the third run coming back from its mid-season break in the US and up to episode 8 here in the UK (Check out Sean Mason's weekly episode reviews). And now fans can rest easy that there is more to come as ABC has announced that the show will be returning for season four. Hardly surprising perhaps given the strong season three so far, the ever popular Marvel Cinematic Universe and work underway on the pilot for the latest spin-off Marvel's Agents Most Wanted featuring Bobbi and Lance in the leads.
Also up for renewal is the somewhat underrated Once Upon A Time that hasn't been given a decent airing in the UK after Channel 5 dropped the show but can now be found on Netflix with new episodes continuing to air just days after the US when the show returns on the 9th March.
Other ABC renewals include Greys Anatomy, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, The Middle, The Goldbergs and Modern Family.
No news on Agent Carter though, with the signs not look good after the show's star Hayley Atwell signed on to the lead role in a pilot for a new ABC show. Another show with a loyal following - Castle - was also absent. But after eight seasons, the latest which has proved to less superior than its predecessors with its ridiculous main storyline, this may be the end for Nathan Fillion's detective show.
