Naomi Watts and Tom Sizemore join Twin Peaks revival

As filming continues on the 'third season' on Twin Peaks, the stellar cast continues to grow. Deadline have reported that Naomi Watts, who starred in David Lynch-directed Mulholland Drive, will be joining the revival alongside Tom Sizemore. What's more Lynch himself will be reprising his role as Dale Cooper's boss, FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole.

Watts and Sizemore join Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried and Balthazar Getty on the show - reports of Peter Sarsgaard's involvement turned out to be a red herring. While only Kyle MacLachlan and Sherilyn Fenn from the original cast are officially confirmed, it is expected that the majority of the original cast - Lara Flynn Boyle and Michael Ontkean aside - are expected to put in appearances too.

Twin Peaks will air in the US on Showtime and the UK on Sky Atlantic next year.
