Heroes Reborn gets a UK airdate
Heroes Reborn, the 13-episode revival of Tim Kring's superhero TV show Heroes will be broadcast here in the UK next year. 5* picked up the rights to the show that was previously broadcast on BBC 2.
Amidst all the latest craze in TV show revivals, a continuation of Heroes was probably not on top of everyone's list. While the first season of Tim Kring's show was critically acclaimed, subsequent seasons failed to deliver and it was cancelled after four years.
However recent trailers proved to ignite interest in the show. The revival sees a mix of old and new characters become heroes after a terrorist attack in the US. You can check out the trailer below.
Channel 5's Head of Acquisitions Katie Keenan said:
"As 5* moves to being the place for the hottest young drama around, Heroes Reborn is an exciting new addition to its 2016 line-up.
The channel will make a great home for the show as we introduce the world of the Heroes to a new audience, as well as the many fans who enjoyed the original series." - Channel 5
