Pilot Ordered For Agent's Of SHIELD spin-off: Marvel's Most Wanted
Back in April, Deadline reported that a spin-off to Agents Of SHIELD was in development at ABC, featuring Adrianne Palicki's Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird and Nick Blood's Lance Hunter. This was seemingly abandoned in favour for a second season renewal for the (excellent) Agent Carter alongside a third-season renewal for Agents Of SHIELD. But now it looks as if that spin-off is back on the table again, and it even has a name: Marvel's Most Wanted.
Variety have reported that ABC has ordered a pilot, featuring Mockingbird and her ex-husband. There is no news on when this will be aired and how long these two will feature as main characters on Agents Of SHIELD. Given the recent developments on this spin-off, Bobbi and Lance are sure to be a main presence in at least part of the third season, perhaps leaving to start in their own show next year?
Agents Of SHIELD producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski co-created the project for Marvel and ABC Studios, and will be co-writing the pilot. They will serve as showrunners, with Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb also serving as executive producer.
Variety also made reference to a rumoured fourth Marvel show, a a top-secret Marvel project helmed by John Ridley. New on this has been scarce as of late, though rumours are abound that it will star teenage superhero Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel
