New trailer for Star Trek: Picard lands at SDCC. Some familiar Star Trek faces to return

San Diego Comic Con just unleashed the first full trailer for Star Trek: Picard and it is sure to have fans squealing with excitement. Not only do we get the first look at Picard's new mission and crew, but some surprise faces appeared, not to mention the infamous Borg.

Brent Spiner pops up as a resurrected Data, along with Star Trek: Voyager's Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan). And she isn't the only Borg character to be returning for the series. Hugh Borg (Jonathan Del Arco) is also coming back.

Added the excitement is the announcement that not only will Jonathan Frakes be directing episodes three and four of Star Trek: Picard, he'll be reprising his role as William Riker alongside on-screen wife Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi.

Star Trek: Picard will air slightly later than though - early 2020, with episodes streaming in the UK on Amazon Prime.
