It's been a long wait, but finally we'll learn the fate of Westeros when the show returns for its final six-part season this April. And after weeks of rumours we have a confirmed date too; season eight will debut on HBO in the US on April 14th, presumably making a 15th April air date on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
