Female-led Grimm series in development at NBC

Fans of superntural series Grimm, which ended last year after six seasons, have reason to be happy. NBC have ordered the development of a spin-off series, this time centred around a female Grimm.

According to Variety, the untitled spin-off is being written and executive produced by Melissa Glenn. Executive producers of the original show, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, will also executive produce the spinoff under their Hazy Mills banner. David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, two of the original series’ three co-creators, will act as consulting producers.

According to the official description, the new show builds off the mythology of the original series and will feature returning fan favorites while also introducing new characters, new dangers and new mysteries.
