The Man In The High Castle renewed for season four ahead of its season three debut

The Man In The High Castle has not yet debuted it's third season, but it has already scored a season four renewal from Amazon.

The announcement was made by producer Ida Hackett at San Diego Comic Con. Hackett is the daughter of Philip K Dick, who wrote the novel on which the series is based. The Man In The High Castle is set in an alternate reality where the Nazis and Japan won the Second World War and the US is divided between the two powers.

SDCC also revealed exclusive footage, suggesting that the sci-fi elements of parallel universes will be upped in season three. A return date was also confirmed; the 5th October on Amazon Prime.
