Mr Mercedes coming to UK streaming via the STARZPLAY channel on Amazon Prime

The second season of Mr Mercedes - the 10-part series by David E. Kelley based on a Stephen King novel is set to debut on the Amazon Prime channel, STARZPLAY, on 23rd August and will be broadcast day-and-date with the US.

The series stars Brendan Gleeson (Trespass Against Us, Suffragette) and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful, Fish Tank).

The first season is available in its entirety on the channel right now.

Told over 10 episodes, a demented killer taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he can strike again.

STARZPLAY is a separate subscription channel that is available to Amazon Prime Video customers. The channel costs £4.99 per month on top of your usual Amazon Prime subscription.

More info on STARZPLAY can be found here.
