Dear White People renewed for season three on Netflix
Netflix has renewed Dear White People for season three. The drama, created by Justin Simien, was based on the 2014 film, which he also wrote and directed. The show has been a critical hit for the streaming site, with its second season receiving even more positive reviews than its first.
The series follows the racial tensions in a predominantly white Ivy League university Winchester College. It centres around Logan Browning's radio host Samantha White and her controversial 'Dear White People' rants. The show also stars Brandon P. Bell as Troy, DeRon Horton as Lionel and Antoinette Robinson as Coco.
The first two seasons are available on Netflix now. We'll also be brining you an exclusive interview with the show's award-winning composer Kris Bowers next week.
