Cannes 2019

The 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival is currently taking place from 14 to 25 May 2019. Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu serves as jury president. American film director Jim Jarmusch's ensemble zombie comedy film The Dead Don't Die served as the opening film of the festival. The festival is honouring French filmmaker Agnès Varda, featuring her on the official poster of the festival.
