JGrrey shares the video for Half Full

Today, South London artist JGrrey shares the incredible visuals for dreamy fan-favourite “Half Full” , taken from her widely-respected 5-track project, UGH .

An offering for her devoted fanbase, the quasi-interlude marks a transition into a new year full of exciting possibilities for the witty lyricist and stand-out neo-soul artist.

As always JGrrey combines candor and confidence with smooth and effortless vocals on this sumptuous single. “Half Full” captures the duality of love, with cutting and honest lyrics set to ahazy and gentle melody, as she mulls over the unwanted end of a relationship. Directed by Remi Laudat , the video takes place in multiple dream-like settings representing the complexities of navigating the post-relationship limbo. The viewer is invited to explore JGrrey’s colourful world, whilst still being allowed the space to interpret the rich imagery themselves.

Talking about the video, J elaborates Half Full is just a super laid-back  cute 'n lazy visual that represents the tempo and the feel of the video with all the different styles and aesthetics that JGrrey can be.”
