Alice Jemima releases video for 'Take Me Back'

Today Alice Jemima is pleased to reveal the new video for her single "Take Me Back", which appears on her debut self-titled album (produced by Roy Kerr; London Grammar, Bloc Party, Foxes) released earlier this year via Sunday Best Recordings.

"Take Me Back" is one of the first songs Alice wrote for the album. She describes the new single "Production-wise it’s pretty much stayed the same along the way, I tried to change it up a bit, give it more of an electronic vibe but it seems to be one of those tracks where a percussive feel works best."

The video for "Take Me Back" was directed by James Heaphy and features a girl replaying memories of past relationships and friendships. In Alice’s own words: "It's a visualisation of the song showing fragments of people's past and the times they've had; an inspiring journey through the memories that give us confidence and carry us through the mundane. I love the nostalgic feel to it. The lyrics are about friendship and finding out about who you are and the person you want to be."
