The Killers - All these things that I've done
This is the third single off the killers’ debut album Hot Fuss to be released. Continuing with the trend of the last two the (yellow hued) 7” version of this single comes as a gatefold sleeve, alongside a poster.
All these things that I’ve done is one of the best tracks from the killers’ debut album, and a good choice for the first real single to be released from the album (as the other two have been re-issues). Infusing 80s indie style with a touch of gospel to re-enforce the deeper meanings of the song. This will surely be another hit for the Las Vegas rock quartet.
The B-side comes as a surprise, the version of Andy you’re a star on the album is quite good, but this exclusive Radio 1 session improves on it quite a lot, it gives a needed rough edge with its smooth synths and fuzzy distorted bass lines.
All in all, this is quite a good record, and considering it has an RRP of 99p it’s a worthy purchase for anyone who not only likes The Killers, but Bands like; The Strokes or Duran Duran (or practically any Indie/80s rock) then be sure you'll like it in some way.
