The Cribs - Mirror Kisses

Mirror Kisses is another example of what magnum opuses are coming out of the North of England. As a follow up to their Top 30 extravaganza Hey Scenesters!, The Cribs are fast becoming another indie outfit to marvel over.

The jangling beats, progressive chord build ups, vacuuming chorus and quirky variations are the ingredients for having that edge to generate love and admiration from indie moshpitters from the country over.

And trying to keep all eyes on Yorkshire for the greatest music coming out now (or perhaps it’s a result of the tablature being available on Click Here), The Cribs cover the Kaiser Chiefs’ Modern Way as a B-Side and bring that early 90s simplicity and darkness to the homage.

However, on the surface, Mirror Kisses has a title to make the song the ultimate expression of vanity, but that lively pace makes it too dynamic notice anything else.
