The Automatic - Monster

Having crashed into the Top 40 with their recent single, Raoul, The Automatic have been hard at work in the studio with Steve Harris (U2, Kaiser Chiefs) and Richard Jackson (Super Furry Animals), crafting their third release Monster. And its a huge tune, their live signature piece and a perfect example of their raucous sound.

The chorus on this song is MASSIVE, lifting the song head and shoulders above of their competition. It is also a lot of fun, the sort of song to leave a smile on your face and a spring in your step. It deserves to be successful, simply because its a great little tune. Its full of little flourishes and weird screeching backing vocals and an epic guitar solo, short and sweet and never outstaying its welcome.

The debut album, Not Accepted Anywhere, is due for release shortly.
