Turbo Fruits album and UK dates

Press release:

Turbo Fruits have a reputation for being one of the most explosive live acts on the planet and they’ll be bringing their no holds barred live show to London in two week's time. Expect to witness great songs, BIG riffs, glorious melodies, rockabilly guitar soloing while being suspended from the ceiling, and a youthful urgency and hi-jinx you’d expect from the founding members of one of the USA’s most revered punk bands!

And these charms haven’t escaped Drew Barrymore either, as November see’s Turbo Fruits' big screen debut as they soundtrack Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut “Whip It!”, starring Juliette Lewis and Ellen ‘JUNO’ Page as an indie-rock loving misfit who finds refuge in a nearby roller derby league. Jonas Stein and the band themselves pop up in several scenes as well as performing in the film!

Although originating as Stein’s side-project, the dissolution of Be Your Own Pet has clearly provided a renewed vigour and focus to Stein’s new musical venture, as imminent single ‘Naked With You’ and sophomore record “Echo Kid” so abundantly prove.

Turbo Fruits stunning new album ‘Echo Kid’ is released 23rd November followed by the brilliant single ‘Naked With You’ 30th November both on Ark Recordings.
